911 audio or dispatch recordings
Large requests: internal affairs files, many records, or long date ranges
Contested requests or appeals: a written challenge after a denial, a heavily redacted release, or an excessive fee estimate

One agency per request. Each additional agency is billed as its own request.

Agency fees are billed at cost. Colorado agencies may charge their own fees for research, copies, and redaction. We send you the agency's estimate before anything is paid and pass it through without markup. Not sure which tier fits? Pick the closest one. Records we request

Police & Incident Reports

Offense/incident reports, supplemental narratives, and case summaries. Victims and involved parties often get fuller copies; others may receive redacted versions.

Traffic Accident Reports

Crash reports from city police, sheriffs, or the Colorado State Patrol, often needed for insurance claims.

Arrest Records

Records of official action, such as arrests, charges, and dispositions. Because arrest history is spread across police, sheriffs, and courts, we handle it as an investigator-conducted Criminal Background Check (includes arrest records) on one individual.

Body Cam & Dash Cam Video

Body-worn and dash camera recordings. Video usually needs review and redaction, which often adds agency fees. Colorado has a special 21-day release rule when a misconduct complaint has been filed.

911 Calls & Dispatch Logs

911 audio recordings and CAD (computer-aided dispatch) logs. Dispatch centers and retention periods vary, so speed matters.

Internal Affairs & Misconduct Records

Completed internal investigation files of peace-officer misconduct, available in part under C.R.S. 24-72-303(4) and related rules.

City, County & State Agency Records (CORA)

Emails, contracts, permits, inspection reports, meeting records, and other public records held by Colorado government bodies.

Jail & Booking Records

Booking information, custody dates, and release records from county jails.
